At Henty Public School we provide safe and nurturing learning environments that develop respect, understanding and responsibility.  Our school provides a well-rounded education that values and supports the intellectual, creative, physical, social and emotional development of every child. Henty Public School meets local needs and statewide standards. 
In 2008 we had students achieve distinctions in NSW University Competitions in English, Maths and Science.  Students have been selected in the Riverina Debating Squad and NSW and Riverina sporting teams.  Our Basic Skills results, where our average Year 3 was Band 4, were excellent.  Our music and art program have major support from our school community.
